Donna Meier is an analytical thinker with a proven track record as a formidable advocate for those who feel unheard. Whether it was advocating for her own kids, foster children, exchange students, or her aging parents and in-laws, Donna has always been the one ensuring their voices were heard and their needs were met. Now, she is ready to bring that same passion and dedication to representing her Manchester and Glastonbury neighbors at the State Capitol in Hartford.
Donna’s academic background includes a Chemical Engineering degree from Bucknell University and a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Seminary. These credentials reflect her unique blend of scientific precision and deep ethical insight. Throughout her career, spanning both technical industries and non-profits, Donna has honed her ability to cast vision, develop leaders, and build collaborative teams that achieve more together.
Donna has lived on the Manchester/Glastonbury line with her husband, Will, for 28 years. She currently serves on the Manchester Board of Assessment Appeals and has been elected to the Board of Education, demonstrating her deep commitment to her community.
